After Witherbee Ranger Station, the trail winds through pine flatwoods for about three miles. This is somewhat uninteresting terrain but (in my experience) all of the would-be uninteresting parts of the Swamp fox Passage have proved to be the exact opposite. The Swamp Fox always has surprises.
