This is definitely a great set of trails. Very well-shaded and the terrain is very interesting, yet not too challenging. Surprisingly, the mosquitoes and bugs are not too bad, considering that it's right next to a lake. The lake is easy to get to from many parts of the trail, and there are plenty of good places to jump in and cool off after a hike, or to go down and fish from the bank.

I really liked this trail... challenging for bikers and hikers. Terrain is rugged but walkable, and path will split to offer you various difficulty levels. Paths are generally wide enough for both walker and biker at the same time. Well maintained- not a lot of deep grooves from bikers, which is a plus for walkers. Lots of tree coverage, and beautiful view of Lake Grapevine. There is a $5/vehicle fee.
