Pine Grove Furnace State Park is a 696-acre park is located on South Mountain in Cumberland County. It boasts two lakes and has hiking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and camping for those who want to do it all. There are six trails that add up to four miles here and the 2,000-mile Appalachian trail runs through it as well.

    This is very nice park and has a lot of history and is the beginning of my 80 mile section hike through he A.T. Would recommend this park to any one..
