The trail starts out on a gravel road, then takes you on a path through the group campground, then next to a small waterfall and onto Cove Creek Falls. You will climb and wind through some thick vegetation to get to the waterfall.

The trail starts out on a boring gravel road but then takes you past a big group campground, and then there is a creek that forms into a small waterfall that we decided to slide down. The water was very cold but it was worth it. We then continued up the trail to Cove Creek Falls.
