Bent Creek features 30 miles of hiking trails near Asheville, NC. The trails are located in the northern tip of the Pisgah Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest and some connect with the Mountains to Sea/Shut In Trail. Trails are varied and are great for beginners and families as well as advanced hikers.

There are plenty of easy loop trails around Lake Powhatan as well as more advanced trails that climb the surrounding mountains.

Most trails are open to mountain bikes but there are miles of trails to explore. The scenery is great but if you're looking for real solitude, head out onto the hiker only trails and enjoy the mountains!
