Description

The AT runs 17.2 miles from Long Falls Dam Road to the Kennebec River (US Hwy 201). Along the way, the trail passes Roundtop Mountain, West Carry Pond, the West Carry Pond Lean-to, Middly Carry Pond, East Carry Pond, Bates Ridge, Pierce Pond, and the Pierce Pond Lean-to.

    I started at east flagstaff rd.(3.2 miles back)did it all in a day.i hiked back to Harrison camps and my wife picked me up.not a lot of up and down hiking just a nice hike around ponds and water falls.and you get to go by the 2000 mile marker for thru hikers
