Parking at Riverside parking lot, take the trail under the bridge to the southern side of the park. The trail follows the White River, then turns and crosses a prairie , looping back to the river. This trail can be hot during the summer as there is little shade in the prairie. Bring water. Trail is shared with bikers, horse & hikers.
Trail length: 3 miles

This trail begins across the street from the parking lot. The trail crosses under the bridge for access to the southern half of the park, wandering along the wooded area near White River then leaving the river to loop through the prairie. One boardwalk and no elevation change. This trail is longer & sunnier than the northern trail as there is no shade in the prairie.Great for Spring & Fall hikes.
