Jericho Lake supports a fish

community of high abundance and species richness. Increased

fishing pressure and harvest by anglers accounts for absence of

larger bass, but high natural reproduction rates bode well for

future. Abundance of medium-sized bluegills and other species

such as yellow bass, yellow perch and black crappie provide

good fishing opportunities

Very short but sweet hike around a decent sized lake. Lots to see and do, despite the small size.
