This is a rather steep, challenging hike that follows Mountaintown Creek up to the top of the ridge, crossing it multiple times along the way. Be prepared to get your feet wet!
The creek and trail go through a beautiful area of the forest that is extremely lush and green. The many waterfalls next to the trail are gorgeous and definitely picture-worthy!

The main river crossings can be wet, but the series of waterfalls right next to the trail as you climb straight up the side of the ridge are gorgeous! I loved all of the rhododendron!
