Trail runs east and west from this location. To the east is the Marshall Swamp segment that is slightly elevated and has foot bridges over the swampy spots. To the west the trail continues to the Landbridge and further if one desires. The trail is considered part of the Florida Trail that runs from Pensacola to the Everglades (1200 miles). The majority of the trail is dedicated solely to hikers though there the share section at the landbridge and connector trail near Ross Prairie State Preserve. There is full facility camping available at the Santos, Shangri-La and Ross Praire TH. Very little elevation change but insect protection is required. Was this helpful?
