We hiked this trail on June 20, 2016. Tidewater Trail was easy to find and the trail was well marked. The honor box was broken and there was no information in the kiosk. The trail itself was kept up nicely when we were there and had plenty of butterflies around. It was hot, in the 90's, but not very many bugs. There was a breeze that helped keep us cool. We took water and had on bug spray and suntan lotion.
