The Water Dog Lakes trail is about 2 miles one-way or 3.7 miles round-trip. This trail climbs about a thousand vertical feet on the way up to the lake, but the pristine beauty of this high alpine lake is definitely a sight to behold!

This is a great winter snowshoe trip. Hike to the upper lake for solitude and amazing views.

Short and steep, but the views of the rushing mountain stream, pine forest, mountains, and the lake at the end make this a great hike!
