On April 18, 2014 I explored the great State of Arkansas and picked Petit Jean State Park as my starting point. This wonderfully diversified State Park offered hiking, camping, fishing, and the best of all a 95 foot beautifully flowing waterfall that was certainly a workout and challenge to hike to. The hike was hard due to the rocky terrain and steep decline. You will move very slow at times so this short 2 mile hike will take you several hours to accomplish. The hike was shaded so that certainly helped and you can take a plunge in the pool at your destination. This was well worth the effort but no joke when you are cautioned to be in shape to see this waterfall.
