Campground Description

High bluffs and cobblestone shoreline, an 1860's lighthouse, a challenging 18-hole golf course, a professional summer theater, a sandy swimming beach, bike trails and a year-round Naturalist program make this 3,776-acre park extremely popular. All sites are within a five minute walk to the shoreline.

This place is awesome. Door County is beautiful country. The sites are spacious. I'm actually shocked that it is way down at 25 on this list.

One disclaimer - i have not camoed here. But, i visit yearly as this is the site of the Door Co 1/2 marathon every year (i do the 5k). Its expansive and beautiful with lots of lake access. There are a lot of trails and a nice lookout tower. The location in Door Co is great. I want to camp here sometime and i know it would rical my favorite parks.
