Absolutly loved this campground. The people were very friendly and helpful. The owners are awesome. The tipi was the greatest. Huge on the inside and the area was just beautiful. The deck the tipi is set on is huge and has bench seating and more room for chairs. Lots of privacy and no cell phone signal (loved it). Great bathroom area to shower and freshen up. Also had our own port-a-pottie by the tipi. We didn't want to leave and will be going back again. Most romantic relaxing weekend I have ever had and enjoyed it in a tipi!

We stayed last summer, and the year before that. The tipi is so awesome. We were the "party animals" staying in the tipi the night the people in the tent were complaining. They failed to mention that they set up their tent within 2 ft. of the road, when they arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm after 10 p.m.and couldn't see well enough to know they were that close. The only trip we made was to take our nephew back to his parents when he was scared of the thunder. I seem to recall it was their baby crying at 4 a.m. Their gear was soaked the next morning, and it was supposed to rain again, so they wanted to leave. I think it's unfair to find something wrong with the whole campground, because you had bad weather. The owners even gave them their money back, which most places don't do because of bad weather, and they still wrote a bad review of the place. We've had a wonderful experience each time we've stayed there, and have booked another weekend.

We originally booked for two nights but left after only the first night. We were tenting next to the tipi. Unfortunately, the people in the tipi partied till 4 am in the morning yelling and driving back and forth in their vehicles. When we talked to Mark, the manager, the next day, he said that they were probably not aware we were staying there. So, we were very lucky the partty animals did not run us over when they were driving back and forth next to our tents. Also, the port-o-potties are a foot away from the playground. I cannot and would not suggest this campground to anyone.

I had family come in from Chicago last year but didn't have enough room for everyone. They liked it so much they brought friends back to stay another weekend. Thanks Kim and Mark your campground is really "Home Sweet Home" but even better.

What a neat place! This year they have a 22 ft. Indian tipi for rent. It's really a neat experience! Very reasonable, and it has everything you need except food and your clothes!
