Hamilton Branch State Recreation Area, located on a 731-acre peninsula in J. Strom Thurmond Reservoir, boasts a plethora of outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, fishing, boating and camping is the short list. Add a scenic drive to the many historical landmarks in the area and you've got a well-rounded weekend in store.
