Fair Haven Beach State Park has one of the finest public lakefronts in upstate New York, with high bluffs above sandy beaches and hilly woodlands. The park features 1500 fee of beautiful sandy beach including 600 feet of guarded swimming area. Inland, Sterling Pond and Creek are centrally located amongst the geological transition between wood and water. Campsites and cabins are nestled within the gently rolling woodlands. Fishing and boating opportunities are plentiful in Lake Ontario and the adjoining Little Sodus Bay.

This is an old park but kept up very well. A lot of beach (sandy), diving (supervised), boat rental, fishing, boat docking, cabins in 2 areas, camp sites on the bluff and by the pond, long breakwater type pier to walk on (I figure it is about 1/2 mile long). State rangers friendly. Good location near the town of Fair Haven. Cafe and store (small) on site also.
