Over thirteen hundred acres of eastern tall grass prairie gives Eisenhower State Park a real feeling of the edge of the prairie. Equestrians can explore 18 miles of horse trails and stay in equestrian campsites with corrals. Cabins, yurts, a scooter trail, an archery trail, kids fishing pond, and more offer plenty of recreation in addition to the 6,930 acres of Melvern Lake.
