Green River Campground is settled along the banks of the Green River among a grove of oak trees. The campground provides one of the few areas out of the sun and elements a little, due to the trees growing around the river.

This was a place we stayed to be close to the main attraction of Dinosaur National Monument, the dinosaurs. However, it wasn't what I would call a great park. It was all out in the open, yet had a bunch of overgrown brush. The facilities seemed like they needed repair and cleaned. There was little in the way of scenery to make up for facilites. It wasn't really bad, but wasn't a place I would go unless there was something drawing me there.
