The same as my review on Bridalveil campground, I'll say there are always a lot of people in these larger sites. It matters little. You're there to take in the sights, enjoy the fresh air, and relax, and it's completely do-able here. Tuolumne is a higher elevation (8600'), so it can get cold at night. Be prepared, and as always use the bear boxes and your car to store things! Don't leave it out if you're not cooking it or eating it, day or night either one. I really enjoyed this campground the last time I was there, with a river nearby... it's pleasant and of course beyond description in beauty. Yosemite is one of those places you just have to go and experience to understand it.
