What a treasure, this campground is on the west shore of Lake Tahoe and is hidden away in the pines. They have tons of trails and creeks plus the beach is right across the road

It is a great campgroung. we go there at least once a year if not twice. Reservations are a little tricky for summer time. For my family reunion we stay here. We have to make our reservations 7 months in advanced to get the sites we like but to solve this problem the campground has a certain number of sites that are not available to reserve. For the last minute camper. nice hike to the lake, and the erhman mansion which is also fun for a tour at least once.
