Q: I just read "Wild" that said this camp ground turned away the book's author who was a woman hiking alone but did not have $12 to pay for the site. The campsite asked her to pack up and leave in the dark. It's been many years, but I hope the camp ground has re-evaluated their priorities and values. -Guest

My wife and I have been camping & fishing in the Willams area for many years. The White Horse Lake Campground has always been one of our favorites. Fishing is decent and lake access is good. Campground is well taken care of.
