Sydney's heritage-listed Royal National Park is affectionately known to locals as the 'Nasho' or just 'the Royal'. Established in 1879, it's the world's second-oldest national park.
Royal has 4 different camping opportunities ranging from backcountry wilderness camping to "camping" in cottage! There is one campground, Bonnie Vale campground, that has 74 campsites, some of which allow RVs and trailers. The other two are backcountry sites, while the fourth is the Weemalah Cottage.
