Oregon (OR) has a trail for every hiker. From the rocky Pacific coastline to the mountains in the Cascade Range, hikers are sure to love Oregon.

All-year-round hiking is available in the lower elevations of Oregon's western coastline. Hike along sandy beaches or through redwood forests, or scale jagged, rocky cliffs and enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Head inland to hike along the Rogue River in the mountains, and enjoy the view of world-class rapids. Nearby hikers can explore Crater Lake National Park and see the pristine Crater Lake surrounded by thick forests and mountains.

Head up to Portland and visit the nearby Multnomah Falls, where an easy walk leads out over the bridge to the beautiful cascading waterfall. Head north and hike the base of Mt. Hood, in Mt. Hood National Forest, or climb the steep and strenuous trail to summit the mountain. Deschutes National Forest is also a popular recreation area, where trails meander over the east side of the Cascade Mountain Range and lead hikers under thick tree canopy into a vast wilderness. Don't forget to explore central and eastern Oregon where hikers can find odd geological formations, old-growth forest, and wide open plains.
