I was pleasantly surprised with this park. The trail winds all the way around Lake Rogers. It is about a 2.5 mile distance. There are plenty of trees all around it making it mostly shaded. There are some pretty sandy spots and some covered in mulch. I could tell that it was a well worn trail. There are some really nice campsites here as well, but no water or bathrooms.

The area around the lakes is habitat for osprey, bald eagles, and wading birds. The trails have very good signage and are well maintained. This trail is flat and parts are quite sandy. It passes through oaks hammocks and pine flatwoods as it makes its way around the lake. You can watch alligators from the benches along the way.
