The recreation area is nestled in the tall pines around an inviting 240-acre lake. The clean, clear water of Turkey Fork Lake provides excellent fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. The lake is stocked with catfish, bass, and bluegill.Recreational opportunities at Turkey Fork include fishing, water sports, camping, picnicking, and hiking. Special features can be found at each activity area.With all of these opportunities, a visit to Turkey Fork Recreation Area will provide its visitors with an enjoyable outdoor experience and memories to take home.

A short hiking trail, less than one mile, connects the Day Use Area to the Campground Area. The trail provides the hiker with: A Winding Pathway. Three wooden bridges crossing low areas. A variety of forest and lakeside views. Varying terrain and slopes
Twenty (20) campsites; Double Campsites are #1, #6, #12, #19¬® Fire Grills & Rings, Picnic Tables, Lantern Posts, and Gravel Camping Pads; Electric and Water Hookups (30 amp & 20 amp); Dump Station; Bathhouse; Paved Accessibility for RV Use; Open Year-Round; Maximum stay - 14 days
$20 for campsites, $5 entrance / day use. $7 tent campsites.
