The campground was very clean and well kept. The bathrooms were well maintained and the showers were fantastic! Best 25cent two and half minute showers ever! The campround was convenient to all of San Clemente, shops, stores and eateries and different beaches were just a short drive away. Trestles beach is a 1.5 mile walk but since you can access the San Clemente State Beach park with your camping pass it is worth the drive (2mile). Only concern was the squirrels. There are a bunch of the furry critters so make sure you pack out what you take and DO NOT leave any food in/around your site. Also some sites have little to NO shade...others seemed to have enough. Great campground and will be back!

This is one of the better "beach campgrounds" that I have been to in southern California. The campground had all the right amenities and was generally clean. It was far enough from the ocean that there wasn't massive amounts of condensation in the morning. There was open areas for games and play and everyone was friendly. I thought that the layout of bathrooms and such could be better, all the doors are on the outside which isn't great for kids.
