Description
Situated at the base of Laramie Peak, the campground is surrounded by firs and pines, with beautiful Friend Park to the southwest.Fishing in beaver ponds.Hiking access to Laramie Peak Trail, Friend Park Trail. Roaring Fork Trail is located ¼ mile from the intersection of 661 and 671.Laramie Peak, at 10,200 ft., is the highest peak in the Laramie Range, and was once a welcome sign to pioneers on the Oregon and Mormon trails, as well as the first ‘real' mountain most had ever seen.Directions
Campground is approximately 26 miles South of Douglas, WY. Take Highway 94 (Esterbrook Road) south from Douglas for 17 miles. Continue south on County road 5 for 11 miles, then southwest 15 miles on CR5, turn left(SE) on Forest Road 671 and drive 2 miles to Forest Road 661.Activities

11 campsites with tables and fire grates, drinking water, 2 vault toilet, no host on site. Trash Pickup. Semi primitive campground.Dispersed camping is allowed, however not within ¼ mile of the campground. There is a limit of 2 vehicles and 10 people per campsite.Dogs must be leashed in the campground.
