The biggest thing Big Creek has going for it is it's proximity to Mount Rainier (45 min drive to Paradise Inn)
The campsite itself doesn't offer much. There are about 6 sites that are along a creek, but you can see houses and private property signs across the way, through the trees. I camped with my family of 5 and friends of ours (10 total) at group site #9. I would recommend this "group site" as it seemed to be the most private of the group sites. Site # 6 also looked nice(right next to the creek). There's also a 5.5 mile trail that starts at the campground (Osborn Mountain Trail #250) It's rated "more difficult". My family went about half a mile on it before it became too steep for our young children (3 & 5 years old). The vaulted toilets were above average. I would not go back here, unless I wanted to spend more time around Mount Rainier.
