Directions: From I-95 south of the Capital Beltway, exit at Lorton. Turn left on Lorton Rd., right on Armistead Rd., right on Rt. 1 and left on Gunston Rd. Continue 1 mile to golf course on left; 3 miles to main park.
Guidebooks: Campground description: This scenic shoreline park offers the largest campground in the area. Visitors may rent paddle boats, jon boats, sailboats, canoes or kayaks. Other park features include: large swimming pool; 18-hole, par 72 golf course; miniature and disk golf courses; four miles of equestrian trails; nature trails; and picnic shelters.
