Description
Lakeview Campground, located on the 185,000- acre Toledo Bend Reservoir and is maintained and operated by the Sabine River Authority of Texas. The area offers camping, fishing and picnicking. The camping area is open March 1 to October 15.Directions
From Pineland follow FM 2426 east for 10 miles; turn right (south) on Highway 87 for 3 miles; turn left (east) on FM 2928 for 3.5 miles to end of paved road; follow signs to Lakeview (approximately 4 miles).Activities
The area is located at the Lakeview trailhead for Trail Between the Lakes, a 28 mile hiking trail which runs from the Sam Rayburn Reservoir to the Toledo Bend Reservoir. The trail is maintained with the help of the Golden Triangle Sierra Club.In consideration of other visitors, no off-road vehicles may be ridden in the campground.Guidebooks

Services
Whether in an RV or tent camping, visitors have 10 campsites to choose from, and each site has a level pad, picnic table and campfire ring which can be used as a cooking grill. There are no sites with electrical hookups. All sites have great views of the lake. Drinking water and toilet facilities are available within a short distance of each camping site.Reservation info
