Description
Douglas Lake is located on the French Broad River. The lake is about 43 miles long and has 555 miles of shoreline and more than 30,000 acres of surface water at summer water levels. Located near the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Douglas Lake is close to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and easily accessible from Interstate 40. Popular sport fish species in Douglas Lake include largemouth bass, white bass, crappie, and bluegill.Directions
From Knoxville, go east on I-40 and take exit 417. Go south on Highway 92 two miles.Activities
