Directions: From Bunker, MO take Hwy A west 1/2 mile; turn south onto Forest Road 2221 (marked with a Forest Service sign) for 6 miles. Turn onto Forest Road 2193; it's about a half-mile to the picnic area and a little further to the campground.
Guidebooks: Activities: Picnicking: Oak Knoll Picnic Area on the west side of the lake offers 5 sites, each with picnic table and grill. Day use fee is $2 per standard vehicle; $10 for buses. Season pass $20.
Fishing: Small mouth bass, sunfish. Barrier-free fishing dock.
Boating/canoeing: Two boat ramps; electric motors only.
Hiking: Take the 1-mile interpretive trail that circles the lake; a short spur leads to the spring that feeds the lake.
Swimming: A small sandy beach is popular with families.?No lifeguard on duty.
Campground description: This recreation area is on the shore of 22-acre Loggers Lake. A portion of the campground is located on a grassy knoll overlooking the lake. There are 14 sites, each with table, and fire ring; some offer lantern posts.
Fee: Nightly fees are $8 for single sites; $16 for double sites.
Campground services: Drinking water and vault toilets are centrally located.
Open April 21 through October 30.
