Description
Situated within the ""cliffy"" area of western Kentuckys Pennyroyal (or Pennyrile) region, rocky cliffs add to the beauty of the shoreline. Within 50 miles of Mammoth Cave National Park, the largest cave system in the world. Nice campground. Not very rugged country, but many nice sites close to Rough River. I did some hiking out in the woods along the far side of the river and enjoyed the solitude and scenery.Outdoor Equipment
