River to River trail goes thru camp, and trail at back of the camp goes to high knob. Horseback camping allowed.
Campground description: Camp Cadiz is a trailhead on the River to River Trail, the Beaver Trail is a day long hike or can be made in to a overnight backpacking loop trail hike. There is overnight parking east of campsite 7 and 8. Beaver Trail is a 7-mile, non-loop trail that starts at Camp Cadiz Campground and ends at the Rim Rock National Recreation Trail. For hikers wishing to make a loop, they can continue from Rim Rock parking area onto the Karber's Ridge Road. Then head southwest and pick up the River to River Trail (about 3/4 mile), it will be the first gravel road on the left side (south). This segment of the River to River Trail will lead back to Camp Cadiz.
