Description
14 campsites on a small impoundment, which despite its size, attracts a great deal of wildlife. Spring through fall, plovers, sandpipers and geese frolic in the mudflats and swim in the waters. Sharp-tailed grouse nest here, and mule deer, coyote, and red fox also frequent this watering hole.Directions
From Virginia, go 10 miles west along the Hawkins Reservoir Road.Activities
