Description

This campground is set on Eightmile Creek surrounded by mountains and trees with a beautiful meadow across the road. This is just a wonderful place to come and hang out and explore. There are trailheads nearby for hikers. Fishing, hiking and enjoying the area is what's happening here. There are 2 sites with tables, fire grates and a toilet. Became aware of this site in the book Rays Guides, free campgrounds in Idaho..

Follow this road for about 3.1 where the pavement ends and continue on for another 5 miles where you will arrive at the ghost town of Bonanza City. Continue staying straight on the main road and in .5 miles you’ll come to a “Y†where you want to bear right.
