About Greg Heil

My name is Greg Heil, and I am the Editor in Chief for Thanks to my parents' outdoor lifestyle and the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin that I grew up in, I have been camping and hiking since before I can remember. While most days you will find me out on the trail riding my mountain bike, I love to get out in the woods and camp. I generally go on a month-long (or longer) camping and biking trip every summer... with some hiking thrown in for good measure, of course!
