Camping in Hawaii (HI) is paradise for those looking to get outdoors. From Waikiki Beach to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the Aloha State makes for some happy campers.

Plenty of camping opportunities exist within State Parks on each island. If beach camping is the goal, head out to the coast where parks offer shelters for comfy camping. The views of the rugged cliffs meeting the Pacific Ocean, and the feel of the soft sand is enough to make coastal camping popular. Tent camping is also available from the sandy beaches to the remote, wild, and low-cliffed volcanic coastline. Try to make it out to Waikiki Beach for some fun ocean playtime.

Inland and upland camping is also popular within Hawaii's parks where both tent and cabin camping is available. The fog belt of the Kula Forest Preserve makes for beautiful scenery and the snow-capped mountains create a beautiful backdrop. Family friendly camping is available as well as remote, secluded tent sites.
