Directions

From Rexburg, get on state highway 33, head west toward the big hill with the 'R' on it. Turn left by the sign that says ""landfill"". The road loops around the North Menan Butte (otherwise known as 'R' Mountain). The better trails (if they exist) are probably on the west side of the Butte (facing away from Rexburg). I understand there are even better trails in the caldera (you'll notice it's a dead volcano), but even they are pretty short.
