Description

This is a "nothing special" dirt road. However, depending upon where you park, it's roughly a 2 mile, one-way hike with plenty of rough, rocky dirt and a few rolling hills. Pick up the road heading toward the water tower. It'll bend north at the tower. You'll see a small red building up ahead. At the building, pick up the east-west road. This offers a short, decent climb. Continue until you reach a rather large pile of deadwood. Take the left fork and follow that. This offers more rolling climbs and doubles back on itself before depositing you back onto the road you were on before the fork. You'll come to a wide, open gate. At this point, either turn around and head back the way you came, or make your way through the post back to your car. Heading back the way you came will give you about four miles, working your way through post about three. A decent hike that'll get your heart rate up, and it's got good scenery of meadows and the Bighorn mountains.
