Description

Trail is very pretty any time of year, with huge ferns and native plants growing throughout the forest floor. At the top, of the trail you view the main channel of the Mississippi River, and have an unobstructed 15 mile view. There is also a falcon effigy mound overlooking the river, about 300-400 ft. in length

Mississippi Bend Campground in Lynxville. Hwy 35 North, 15 mi. N. of Prairie du Chien, take right turn on Hillside Drive
