A bathroom and a water fountain start the trail and a few picnic tables line the beginning. Its well paved, wide, and appears fairly well maintained. However, the trail itself goes right along a major street -- it might as well be a sidewalk. On the opposite side there is construction behind the row of trees that would otherwise make the cars ignorable. So on one side there are cars whizzing by and on the other there is the sound (and occasional sight) of construction vehicles. The creek was dry when I went through and a bit... mossy where not. There were some dragonflies flying around which was a bit neat, and for people with kids the park has an old-fashioned wooden playground that have become a rare commodity. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this trail. EDIT: I found after I wrote this this that there are two trails. A more natural trail that this was probably meant to lead to (which I didn't see any markers for - considering the construction it might no longer exist) and the shorter paved trail I took.
