Great potential for the area - wooded walk along the Etowah River - trails not well maintained - lots of trash -

This review is on behalf of my boys. Their babysitter took them on a killer hike here. They walked along the creek bed and stopped to listen to her read Lord of the Rings in beautiful surroundings. Not so much foot traffic here, so I'm hesitant to set the record straight, but there really is a beautiful trail here, and we've seen deer several times.

The other reviewer couldn't be more wrong. I will admit the trails are NOT well marked, but it is there. Go to the back of the park, and you'll find the entrance to the right of the walking track, just up the hill a bit. This is my favorite running trail. I often see wildlife. There are new blazes, and I haven't explored them all yet, but I mean to soon.
