From Gateway Park, cross the river and take the Cedar Prairie Trail south. In just a few miles, you'll be passing fields of corn shimmering in the sunlight. The path travels over gently rolling hills, crosses Ridgeway Avenue and passes the Soccer Complex, then enters the Katoski Greenbelt, a beautiful, tree-lined path beside Black Hawk Creek. This trail does loop back to Gateway Park by following the Sergeant Road trail and connecting with the South Riverside Trail. This website contains a map of all the trails in the Cedar Valley area.
