Description

This is a short (0.5 miles) secluded hike with a big waterfall payoff halfway through the trail. We hiked the loop counterclockwise and were fooled by a small waterfall leading up to the much larger falls.

Directions

From Franklin, take US 64 west to Louisa Chapel Rd. Take a right, then a quick left onto Wayah Rd. Take Wayah Rd. about 4-5 miles, then turn left on Boardtree Rd. (periodically gated). Go about 1-2 miles, trail head and small parking area will be on the right.
