Directions

From Denver, take I-70 West to the Evergreen Parkway. From the Highway 8/Highway 73 intersection in Evergreen, take 73 south to Buffalo Park Road. Take a right, and follow the road past the high school. Within a mile after the high school, you will be at Alderfer's east parking lot. If you continue another 1/2 mile, you will be at the west parking lot. Park at the east lot, mount up and cross the road to the trail. There's short connector trail before you begin the loop.
