Description

There are numerous trails to hike at Garden of the Gods. Some of them are paved and crowded with tourists, and some of them are narrow singletrack that's more remote.

I have visited many natural places, and Garden of the Gods is close to the top of my lists of most beautiful places of all time! You have to experience the grandeur of these sandstone rocks!

Garden of the Gods is also very popular as a rock climbing and bouldering destination.

Directions

From I-25, exit at Garden of the Gods Rd. Head West of G.O.D.G. Rd. and follow the signs to the visitor's center. Park here and ride down under the highway into the park. At the stop signed intersection in the park, trail starts on the left side of the road. Signs for Ute trail.

Great place to spend the morning or afternoon. There are multiple trails winding through the Garden. Some short paths to picnic tables and longer paths to really get into nature. And, to top it all off, some fantastic climbing all over the beautiful rock formations.
If you're the type that enjoys knowing the history of an area and/or about the local flora and fauna there is a visitors center just outside the Garden to get your knowledge fill.
