The KT is actually about 58 miles or so, including a series of loops at its northern end. It is typical Indiana woods including a monotonous series of forested hills, small streams, etc. The only real views you get are when passing through a power line clearing. It is Indiana’s longest trail, but doesn’t take advantage of some of the variety of terrain elsewhere in the Hoosier Nat Forest.
