Description

This hike starts from a spur trail at the trailhead of the Burrows Trail. The climb is gradual following a stream until it reaches the Long Trail. Heading North to the summit there are many great views and overlooks. The trail gets steep at times with some climbing on rocks. Once to the peak, continue north over the summit. The descent is steep at first then comes to a clearing. On the right, is the Burrows Trail a long winding climb down through softwood then hardwood to the parking area. This trail leads to the summit, which is at 4,065 ft above sea level.

This trail is rather short, but rather awesome! It climbs the west side of Camel's Hump, and actually connects to part of the Long Trail. It's even better in the winter time, when you can snowshoe up/down it. I highly recommend this hike as a day hike.
